June is a month richly woven into the life of the Church and of our parish. Summer's arrival reminds us of God's generous bounty, while the liturgical calendar draws our attention to central mysteries of the faith—mysteries that teach, form, and send us out in mission.

The month of June invites families and communities to gather: we celebrate fathers and father-figures, we reflect on the life-giving presence of the Eucharist, and we honour God's loving and compassionate heart. For parishes like ours, June is both reflective and celebratory—a time to deepen devotion and renew commitment to service.

Emphasis: The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus — Our Patron

June 12 — Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
The Sacred Heart is at the heart of our parish identity. It is an image of Christ's tender love, mercy, and longing for humanity's healing and reconciliation. As patrons of SHTCG, we are called to live from that compassionate heart—serving the poor, comforting the broken, and proclaiming God's merciful presence.

To honour this feast, our parish gathers for the Novena and a special sequence of prayers and reflections leading to the feast and the Grand Finale celebration. This devotion draws families, ministries and clergy together to pray, rejoice, and offer acts of reparation and thanksgiving.
